FREE TYRE CHECK
If you are unsure about the condition and safety of your tyres take advantage of our Free Tyre Check service. We will check and inspect for tread depth, pressure, wear and damage to ensure your tyres are safe and legal. If the tyre inspection shows up any issues or problems, we will advice you on what needs to be done to correct the issue.
TYRE SAFETY TIPS FROM THE TEAM AT DROITWICH TYRES AND EXHAUSTS
Check the tread wear regularly – the legal minimum is 1.6mm across the central three quarters of the tread breadth around the entire circumference of the tyre. Irregular tread wear may be due to a more serious problem, such as incorrect loading, wrong inflation pressure or wheel misalignment.
Replace any tyre that has blistered, ruptured or been cut penetrated by an object.
Check tyre condition each time you check pressures. Do not forget the side of the tyre facing away from (on the inside of the vehicle). To do this you will periodically need to remove the wheels from the vehicle

LASER WHEEL BALANCING & ALIGNMENT
We offer wheel balancing and alignment as a standard part of our tyre changing services.
You don’t need to wait for this if you experience inconsistent tyre wear. This could be due to your wheels not being balanced correctly and you may experience vibrations in the steering wheel, seat or floorboards. Your wheels may also not be correctly aligned. We can correct this and not only make your car safer but also improve economy and reduce tyre wear.
We use laser alignment and tracking technology supplied by Supertracker, which is the UK’s leading laser alignment equipment provider to the motor trade. This equipment gives quick and accurate measurement and allows us to carry out the alignment and tracking to a high degree of precision, therefore making your car safer and helping to reduce tyre wear and extend the life of your tyres.
